C60 has had a love for Dance music for the last 20 years when at 15 years young he developed a love affair with the UK’s rave scene explosion. Through the 1990’s he was playing early house and then what developed into drum and bass at events across the UK. He says, “I have always had a very wide taste in music, as far as I am concerned there are only two types… good and bad, but I am very particular about what I like and I hope that shines though in my sets”.
It wasn’t until he visited Miami in 2003 that he really regained his love of playing house music, when he was
inspired by the US scene which reminded him of the UK’s early dance scene. He states, “It felt like something very
underground, which was in contrast to the more mature scene in the UK which had got kind of stale for me”. “I
found the Miami music style was much better than what was going on in Europe at that time and it revived my love
for the genre”. After that pivotal moment he found success playing at both House and Drum & Bass events. “If I
play house I like to mix US tribal and Iberian Latino styles and it seems to work quite well, for D&B I will play
anything with high quality production levels”.
